At River and Ridge we are experienced in delivering high quality expeditions, we are an approved activity provider (AAP) for the Duke of Edinburgh Award and are licenced for all our activities through the adventure activities licencing service. We provide training assessments and consultation services for all levels of the Award, Bronze Silver and Gold.
We pride ourselves on delivering a full suite of expedition services and will work closely with your organisation to ensure the best results for you and your students. We can offer as much or as little support as you need to make the whole expedition process easy and trouble free.
All our staff are highly experienced and selected specifically for both their knowledge and ability to pass on that knowledge in a fun and engaging manner, all staff are enhanced DBS checked and hold full first aid qualifications, all staff have a passion for working with young people and will work tirelessly to ensure that all participants are thoughrally trained and ready to take on the challenge of any expedition, whilst on expedition students will have access to a supervisor who is constantly on call to offer any advice or sort out any issues before they become problems.
River and Ridge believe that the Duke of Edinburgh Award should be available to all, and we have tried to keep our costs as low as possible to encourage as many young people as possible to have access to high quality instruction and training.
We can provide expeditions anywhere in the uk, and supply tents maps compasses stoves pots and pans. All our routes are risk assessed and groups will be given full support and supervision throughout the training and assessment phases.
