Welcome to River and Ridge canoe hire. What better way to spend a few hours to a few days than exploring the spectacular river wye in one of our open canoes. It’s easy to see the attraction of this stunning river. We hire canoes on the sections between Hereford and Monmouth.
Hire canoes on a half or full day basis and travel down the river to your destination, where you will be met by one of our team and driven back to your starting point, hassle free! Or why not paddle a longer section and stay at a campsite enroute
We supply all equipment, canoe (obviously!) paddles buoyancy aids waterproof bags or barrels and helmets, where needed.
Our fleet of canoes are modern stable and easy to paddle, you and your group will be given a full safety brief at the start of your trip and top tips from our experienced coaches on how to paddle and steer your canoe.
Our coaches can also be hired if you want any one to one tuition, or want somebody there to give advice if you don’t feel confident heading out on your own.
We are always happy to give advice on kit and boat choices if you have been bitten by the canoeing bug and need some help before buying your own boat.
